Mike offers more than 30 years of experience in construction management, project management, and owner’s representative services in both the public and private sectors. He is deliberative and strategic in making sure that his clients' needs are met, preferring a collaborative and innovative project approach. A sought-after subject matter expert, Mike is often asked to speak regarding partnering, lean construction, methodologies for integrated project delivery, project management, and effective team communication. He is involved in a variety of professional organizations such as Construction Management Association of America, Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs, BESThq, the National Association of Minority Contractors, and is a DBIA-certified professional. Recently, Mike & his team managed the complex process of remodeling the Portland Building, a $195 million, multi-year project of moving more than 700 city employees to other work spaces, completely gutting the interior of the building, as well as transforming the it from very dark & sickly place to work into one of them most light-filled work space in the city of Portland, all the while maintaining it's historical landmark recognition. They also just finished the brand new $274 million, Multnomah County Courthouse at the west end of the historic Hawthrone Bridge and is currently working on the $387 million dollar remodel of Multnomah County's Public Libraries (including a brand new Operations Center), all the while being a man of faith and strategically sharing his faith as the Holy Spirit leads!
